Hey guys, welcome back to my blog!
I love being back on my blog regularly and having my new job means I have lots of time on my hands to write. I have decided to do a Q&A, I know I have done one before but I really enjoyed answering your questions and having you all be a part of my post.
I have taken some of the best questions to answer.
1. Would you say you have a guilty pleasure?
Benidorm the tv series. It’s my go to, so many people have mixed comments about it but whenever I can’t find something new to binge I always go back to watching it. I always end up watching every single series too, its all or nothing!
2. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
That’s tricky! I have so many favourite foods, takeaways and even some fruit and veg. I would probably have to say cheese and crackers. Plain I know but I just love them. 😂
3. Which meal is your favourite: breakfast, lunch, or dinner?
Dinner. I love going out for dinner, having dinner in with my friends and family. Weekends are the best because we plan a takeaway on Saturday and then cook a full roast from scratch on a Sunday.
4. What song always gets you out on the dance floor?
Got to be YMCA. Old party classic I know. I also love the Macarena lol.
5. How do you take your coffee?
I love lattes, but if I can’t get a latte I’d have to say white no sugar. I love an iced latte from Starbucks with some vanilla pumps too.
6. What’s the first thing you do after getting home from work?
SLEEP. SLEEP AND MORE SLEEP. I always have time for a nap and getting back from work and getting into bed is the best. I do love a good bath too I do sometimes love a candle lit bath with a bath bomb and face mask.
7. What's the best career advice you've ever heard?
Don’t ever let a job come between your health or family. As soon as it starts to feel toxic you need a change. I believe this so much from my previous job, sometimes we get hooked on the job or the money and we let things go that we shouldn't.
8. What do you look for in a friendship?
Someone who understands work and not always being available. Someone who’s always there for you like you’re there for them and does things you'd like to do too. Someone who doesn't take life seriously and who is a laugh.
9. What do you love most about yourself?
My determination. No matter how many times I’ve been knocked down (and there’s been a few) I always get back up and try.
10. What do you hate most about yourself?
I’d have to say body shape. I’ve always struggled with my weight and maintaining it but every piece of clothing I’ve ever had has never fit perfectly, I’ve either been too short, too tall, too thin or too fat for everything.
11. What made you want to start your blog back up?
I started my blog in lockdown and it was really a way to pass time and journal things really. I never thought i'd want to continue it. It is hard work sometimes when I’m busy with my job but I really love doing it now and I have my friends and family who support and love to read my blogs. I guess I started it back up again because I do have a lot more time on my hands now and it makes me happy.
12. What’s your favourite dish to cook?
I’d have to say a roast dinner. I love a good roast. Turkey is my favourite but I do love pork too. I cook a full roast dinner from scratch and it’s the favourite way to end the weekend. I love to cook and there's a lot of dishes I like to make.
13. What’s your Dominos order?
Meat feast and stuffed crust, got to remember the extra dip too!
14. Do you usually have a plan for the gym/working out?
I like to plan how many times a week I will workout and go to the gym. I don't usually have a plan for when I am in the gym, I usually go with the flow and use what is free. I have a youtube playlist of workouts which I will go to when I workout at home.
15. What advice would you give for starting a new job?
Probably one of the most simple things, be yourself.
I have found that being myself and just being kind and caring has helped massively. I also love to help where ever I can.
16. What's your favourite day off activity?
This is a bit of a tricky one, I would say cinema or shopping.
I love to go to B&M and Home Bargains on my days off. Over the past few months, I have been shopping a lot, almost like retail therapy. I go to the cinema a lot too.
17. 5 things you want to do before the end of the year?
Disneyland - I have been looking at their halloween festival and I am dying to go
Pay off my direct debits and save, save and save some more
progress to my care level 3 NVQ with work - so I can go to uni and do social work
Have a big clear out and stop keeping hold of things I will never use or wear
Get myself fit again and get back to boxing
18. What tv show do you hate?
I would have to say Big Bang Theory and Friends.
I love Friends but I cannot stand the fake laughing, same with the big bang theory it grinds my gears so badly lol
19. What is your favourite piece of technology and why?
I love my Apple Watch, lots say they're a waste of money but I have to say I use it every single day. It is like a portable phone that's always on your wrist. I love to track my fitness, use it to send me reminders and even play little games. I can get my messages and important phone calls straight to my watch and record workouts. I love that I can connect my Airpods to my watch and I don't even need to take my phone into the gym. I find my Apple Watch very useful.
20. Have you ever had a nickname? if so, what is it?
Growing up the only person who had a nickname for me was my dad. From around 4 years old he would always call me Chlo. He still does now, isn't very exciting I know but it would be weird to be called anything different now.
I thought i'd better stop the questions at 20 as I do have lots more but this blog would be super long. I think this has taught you all a little more about me. I am so glad to be back writing blogs, I have spent a lot of time improving my website so it's easier for you all to read my blogs and I have a routine now of when I would like to post so I will be posting regular content via my blog and on my instagram. If you have any ideas or feedback please do use the contact me section of my website.
Thank you all so much for the support with this blog, I honestly cannot explain how much this blog has helped my mental health and I cannot believe how many of you enjoy reading my stories!
