Conquer 2022 challenge - *Set your own duration and mileage
There was also Kruger National park which I have completed, this one was discontinued so may even become rare in the future!!
As you can see from there list above there are a range of destinations you can virtually take part in, I am determined to complete them all but it is going to take some time - The challenges in bold are the ones I have completed so far!
Every challenge comes with a set number of post cards, which you collect along the way, these are different for each challenge so it is nice as you progress on your challenge you receive these via email.
With the Conqueror Challenges there is a choice to plant a tree or help save the ocean by removing plastic for every 20% of a challenge you complete. Personally I find this really motivating as you want to do more to help the environment as well as getting the medal.
My main aim was to get more acive when I started these challenges in the 2020 pandemic but they have proven to be rather addictive!
I really enjoy tracking my miles and it really motivates me to do more - Especially if I am close to getting my medal.
I would recommend virtual challenges to anyone as you don't need to be massively athletic.
Walking is perfectly fine.
Finding the motivation to get moving has always been my downfall, sometimes we all need some guidance and a push in the right direction, I have found the challenges just that! As you set a time frame for a medal you must catch up in order to finish your challenge in time.
If you’re thinking of doing something different or you just love the idea of getting medals then I really recommend these challenges to be just that!! A challenge.
If you have any questions or would like to know some more information please feel free to reach out to me!
Another blog coming soon,
